HOW OUR BOXING & KICKBOXING TRAINING WORKS

The Lab Boxing Academy is a personalised fight and fitness training service. We help individuals and groups reach peak levels of fitness while teaching them world class boxing and kickboxing skills.

At the moment we are providing three types of services: 

  • One on One Personal Training (Boxing, Kickboxing & Fitness) 
  • Small Groups of Two or Three (Boxing, Kickboxing & Fitness)
  • Larger Corporate/Community/Sports Team Group Training (Boxing, Kickboxing & Fitness)

To make a booking with us, please request a booking online and we will confirm the time within a few hours.

We train in our facility in Parkwood (we provide our exact address once your booking is confirmed). We have equipment, bags and a ring in a fully fitted out gym perfect for personal training & small group sessions.

You can pay in cash or via bank transfer once you complete your session. We will have tap/swipe credit card payments coming soon.

We book sessions Monday to Saturday throughout the day and in the evenings. Check out the times available at the request booking page.

We teach boxing & kickboxing to men, women and children 8 and above of all skill levels. Whether you’re a complete beginner looking for fitness and self defence or a fighter look for a shot at the Olympics, we can help.

One of the main benefits of having one on one or small group training sessions is that we can tailor your training to meet your goals. So before we start training we can discuss exactly what you’re after and we will create a plan based upon what you want.

For example, if you’re a fighter looking to compete soon, we can figure out what you need to work on and set about achieving it within the timeframe. If you’re looking for fitness and conditioning, we will tailor up hard hitting workouts to achieve those results.

You can expect most workouts will consist of a combination of shadow boxing, technique practice, combinations, pads words, bag work, skipping and possibly some weights.

Whether you train with us in our facility or we come to your location, please come in the normal fitness clothes you would wear at a regular gym. Comfortable shoes are recommended. If you have your own gloves and wraps we recommend you bring them, but they are not essential in the first few sessions.

Coach Rufo Tellez will be coaching you. He has an extensive history of boxing and kickboxing fights and coaching assignments.
